LEVEL 2 BPA TRAINING

We recently delivered our 40-hour residential Level 2 ('Basic') BPA Training Course at Thames Valley Police Training College, near Reading, UK.

During the week, participants from the Staffordshire Police, an Garda Síochána, University of Derby and Thames Valley Police built an understanding of BPA: starting with blood dynamics and pattern interpretation and culminating in the evaluation of BPA in complex simulated assault scenarios.

It is always a pleasure for us to watch the team gel throughout the week and start to share their own experiences of BPA at scenes and in the laboratory. It was a great learning experience for everyone and we are sure that the students will stay connected as they develop their BPA skills in the future.

Here's what the students had to say about the experience:

"The practical session were excellent and a very enjoyable way of learning"
"By far the best course I have been on in a 16 year operational career"
"The genuine passion and enthusiasm Jo & Gill have for their subject makes the learning infectious. You simplify a complex science in an engaging way and make it fun"
"Although it is a very interesting and complex science your experience is unquestionable and it showed"
